Lindsey Vogt, Program Administrator
|
Birthplace :: Johnson City, TN B.A., Public Leadership & Service, Milligan College |
The American Studies Program holds a unique place in Lindsey Vogt’s heart. She was first introduced to the program through her coursework at Milligan College. Intrigued by what she heard, Lindsey attended ASP as a junior during the spring 2005 semester. As a student, she interned with the White House Faith-Based and Community Initiative (FBCI) which opened the door for her to work in the Kentucky Governor’s Office to help establish the KYFBCI.
Upon completion of her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Leadership & Service, Lindsey was afforded the opportunity to return to Washington, DC and to serve as the ASP intern for the 2006-07 academic year. In July 2007, she joined the ranks of Congressional employees serving Congressman Davis and Kentucky’s Fourth District as Scheduler & Office Manager.
Today, Lindsey is delighted to be back at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities serving as the Program Administrator for both ASP and WJC. She hopes to begin work on a Master’s of Education in the fall of 2009.
